coaching artJens career started in Human Resources for House of Fraser. She later moved into a quality role for SCA, a large European industry.  After retraining as an Occupational Therapist in 1994, Jen moved into the public sector working across the NHS, social care and the private sector. Most of her OT work has been in physical rehabilitation both hospital, community and social services. Her management experience includes staff and service development, appraisal and supervision, clinical audit and research. She is a creative, dynamic leader and has developed many cutting-edge services.

Jen Gash - OT Coach She established OTCoach in 2006 and feels passionately that many OT’s would benefit from coaching but also that coaching lends itself greatly to OT practice. She is currently writing a book on coaching and OT and continues to work with OT’s to develop coaching skills.

Jen is an authentic, honest and courageous coach. She approaches all her work with enthusiasm, creativity and passion. She currently works at the MS Research Unit in Bristol developing a life management coaching service and works as a locum OT to keep her skills up to date. As a mother, Jen knows well the challenges of integrating a busy professional life with a busy home life!

Wendy Allonby is an OT, Life Coach and Counsellor. Coaching successfully instills  positive self belief  and has helped her to create an expansive vision that fits with her holistic values, in setting  up ‘Skills for the Job of Living’. She continually stretches her comfort zone and amazes herself with how she can transfer and apply OT skills to new challenges, as well as becoming a businesswoman !.  Wendy works 2 days a week as an OT/Coach, with incapacity benefit customers, helping them find purpose, well-being and return to work, Wendy will shortly be found on Dawn Breslins Coaching website, as an accredited Super Confidence Coach. Whilst Wendys niche is health and well-being, she notices that wherever clients start, they ultimately bring their relationship with themselves and important ‘others’ to the fore. Having attended a course on Positive Acceptance, she feels we spend too much time fighting ourselves, with shoulds and oughts, regrets, instead of accepting our emotions in a mindful way. (watch out for course review) Wendy is currently putting together a workshop for health care professionals utilising ‘happiness’ principles and positive psychologies to link with OT theory – watch this space !
